Hope y’all are having a fabulous 2014 so far. I wrote my first check the other day and had to cross off the 13 I instinctively wrote and replace it with a 14. Writing the date out for the first time always is my first real kick in the rear that it truly is a brand spankin’ new year. I know I said I am not making a list of resolutions, but I did decide to make a short list of to-do’s. First on the list is entering myself in to rehab. Sugar rehab. When I polished off a whole package of double stuffed oreo’s on new years day [I am not exaggerating], I had an intervention. With myself. Enough is enough and this addiction must come to an end. So the past 4 days I have banned refined sugar from my house [let’s see how long this actually lasts] and so far so good.

Winter is in full swing here in Texas so bundling up is now a full blown necessity. This J.Crew turtle neck was a gift from my step mom and I am so thankful I have it during this rather freezing winter. It is super duper warm and cozy and I love it so much. I like to wear thicker jeans when the temps drop and my J Brand love story’s are perfect. These were my first pair of J Brands that I ever bought over 5 years ago and they are still one of my favorite pairs in my closet. And of course I am still loving on my Libby Lane clutch which I just cannot get enough of. It literally goes with everything.
